Rise for the World

Rise is an initiative of Schmidt Futures and Rhodes Trust, seeking global young people with potential, talent, and determination to change the world. Through a selective process that includes video submission, project development, and interviews, they analyze teenagers' traits of empathy, perseverance, dedication, and the will to use their ideas for the greater good.
The 100 winners in each edition will have benefits throughout their lives such as mentoring, courses, scholarships, investments, and the opportunity to meet bright young people with all types of backgrounds and cultures. Currently, the project has teenagers from 42 countries speaking more than 20 languages, between 15 and 17 years old. Registration for the 2022 selection is now open, through the HELLO, WORLD app, until December 22, 2021.
As one of the winners, it still seems like a dream. Rise's team is completely welcoming and always available for everything. I got the news on Monday (Oct. 25th ), and I'm already excited about all the opportunities and experiences I'll have. Soon I'll meet all of them in person, learn and grow not only academically, but as a human, alongside amazing people.
An opportunity that changes lives, opens paths, and empowers young people, helping us to make our ideas come true, and showing us that we can be whatever we want. Do not miss it!
